darwin Shiploader for iron and manganese ore  
  • The Darwin Port Corporation is currently relocating the majority of its industrial loading facilities to the East Arm Wharf.

    Techint-SEMF has been awarded, by the Northern Territory of Australia, a contract for delivery of a 2,000t/h Shiploader to load manganese ore.

 

The eastern end of the wharf is primarily used for outloading of equipment for offshore rigs, the middle section is currently used for container crane while the western end is utilized for the receival of bulk liquids.

This shiploader will operate on the existing container rails and be positioning to the east of it.
